Linck ("Linck", "we", "us", or "our") is a product of Pudge Studio, based in India. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our platform at linck.pudgestudio.com. It applies to creators who sign up for an account, visitors who view creator profiles, and brands who submit inquiries.

By using Linck, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Linck.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We store these to create and maintain your Linck account.

1.2 Profile content

Information you add to your profile — display name, bio, links, and media kit statistics — is stored by us and made publicly visible according to your settings.

1.3 Usage data

For premium accounts, we collect anonymised page view counts and link click events. We do not use third-party analytics trackers or advertising pixels. All analytics data is stored in our own database.

1.4 Inquiry data

When a brand submits a "Work with me" inquiry on a creator's profile, we collect the brand name, contact name, email address, collaboration type, budget range, and any message provided. This data is stored and surfaced to the creator.

1.5 Payment data

We do not store payment card or bank details. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. We receive a customer ID and subscription status from Dodo to manage your plan.

1.6 Cookies

We use only one category of cookies: essential session cookies issued by our authentication system (Supabase) to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required because we do not use non-essential cookies.

2. How We Use Your Information

To create, maintain, and secure your account
To display your public profile and links to visitors
To deliver brand inquiry notifications to your email via Resend
To process and manage your subscription via Dodo Payments
To send weekly reminders to update your media kit (if enabled)
To provide analytics about your profile performance (premium only)
To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (GDPR / India DPDP)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, our legal bases for processing are:

Contract performance — processing necessary to provide the Linck service you signed up for
Legitimate interests — fraud prevention, platform security, and aggregate analytics
Legal obligation — where required by law

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act), we process your data on the basis of your consent (given at sign-up) and for legitimate uses as defined by the Act.

4. Data Processors

We share data with the following sub-processors solely to operate the service:

Supabase, Inc.Database, authentication, and file storage — USA (SOC 2 Type II certified)

Resend, Inc.Transactional email delivery — USA

Dodo PaymentsPayment processing and subscription management — acts as Merchant of Record

Vercel, Inc.Application hosting and edge delivery — USA

Each processor is contractually bound to process data only as instructed and to maintain appropriate security standards.

5. Data Retention

Account data is retained for as long as your account is active
If you delete your account, your profile, links, and personal data are permanently deleted within 30 days
Inquiry data submitted by brands is deleted when you delete your account
Analytics data (page views, link clicks) is retained for 12 months and then deleted
Payment records may be retained longer where required by financial or tax regulations

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

Access — request a copy of your personal data
Rectification — correct inaccurate data via your dashboard
Erasure — delete your account and all associated data via Settings → Delete account
Portability — request an export of your data
Objection — object to processing based on legitimate interests
Opt-out of sale (CCPA) — we do not sell personal information. No opt-out mechanism is required, but you may contact us to confirm.

7. Children

Linck is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. International Transfers

Your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States and other countries where our processors operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to protect your data during international transfers.

9. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), row-level security on our database, and access controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users at least 7 days before they take effect.
